Description
Habit: Hairless, very poisonous biennial, to 1.5 m high.
Stems: Hollow, smooth, spotted with purple in the lower part.
Leaves: Leaves triangular 3-pinnate, with finely toothed leaflets.
Flowers: White, hermaphrodite, in terminal umbels with 10-20 rays; bracts and bracteoles present; petals 5, free; stamens 5; ovary inferior and 2-celled.
Fruits: A schizocarp, 2.5-3 mm, broadly ovoid with wavy ridges.
Habitat: Farmyards, roadsides, wasteground.
Distribution: Occasional.
