Description
Habit: Erect to decumbent hairless perennial, to 45 cm high.
Stems: Solid, bluish green.
Leaves: Leaves entire, 2-ternate or 2-pinnate with linear, succulent, cylindrical lobes; smelling of furniture-polish when crushed.
Flowers: Yellow, in terminal umbels, with 10-20 rays; bracts and bracteoles numerous; petals 5, free; stamens 5; ovary inferior and 2-celled.
Fruits: A schizocarp, 3.5-5 mm, ovoid, ribbed.
Habitat: Maritime rocks and boulder beaches.
Distribution: Locally frequent on exposed coast, rare elsewhere.
