Description
Habit: A hairless annual, to 60 cm high.
Stems: Erect.
Leaves: Oblong, alternate, slightly toothed or lobed; upper leaves stalkless and clasping the stem with pointed, divergent auricles.
Flowers: White, 6 mm across, actinomorphic, in racemes; sepals 4, free; petals 4, free; ovary superior.
Fruits: A silique, 12-18 mm long, round, flat, with a broad wing all round, deeply notched at the top.
Habitat: Roadsides, waste ground, cultivated fields.
Distribution: Very rare.
