Description
Habit: Stem 25-50cm high.
Leaves: Rather fleshy, linear to linear-lanceolate, up to 20mm wide, as long as or slightly shorter than scape.
Flowers: Bearing a loose, one-sided raceme of drooping, tubular, purplish-blue flowers, 25mm long; racemes 4- to 16-flowered, nodding towards apex; perianth cylindrical to bell-shaped, the segments 14-20mm, recurved at apex; stamens inserted on or at base of perianth with narrow filaments, unequal, the outer inserted at middle of perianth, cream-coloured.
Habitat: Woods, thickets, heaths and grassy banks.
