Description
Habit: A hairless perennial, to 1.2 m high.
Stems: Erect, slender, spreading, often zig-zag form, unbranched or branched.
Leaves: Spirally arranged, 3-4-pinnate; leaflets shallowly toothed or lobed, terminal one 5-20 mm long.
Flowers: Actinomorphic, hermaphrodite; erect inflorescence with flowers spreading or drooping, usually separated from each other, pale yellow; perianth with 1 whorl of 4 sepals, petal-like and free; the petals absent; stamens numerous, indefinite and free, much longer than sepals; ovary superior.
Fruits: A cluster of achenes.

Habitat: Limestone pavement, rocky lake-shores, mountain cliffs.Distribution: Occasional.
